1. Agreement to Terms

By accessing or using Zodiscope (“the Service”), operated by Zodiscope (“we,” “us,” or “our”), you agree to be bound by these Terms of Service. If you do not agree to these terms, please do not use the Service. We reserve the right to update these terms at any time; continued use of the Service after changes are posted constitutes your acceptance of the revised terms.

2. Account Creation

To access certain features you must create an account. You agree to:

• Provide accurate and complete information when registering.
• Keep your password secure and not share access with others.
• Notify us immediately at hello@zodiscope.io if you suspect unauthorized use of your account.
• Be at least 13 years of age. If you are under 18, you represent that you have your parent or guardian’s permission to use the Service.

We reserve the right to suspend or delete accounts that violate these terms or are inactive for an extended period.

3. Acceptable Use

You agree to use the Service only for lawful purposes. You must not:

• Scrape, crawl, or systematically download content from the Service without written permission.
• Attempt to gain unauthorized access to any part of the Service or its infrastructure.
• Use the Service to harass, harm, or impersonate others.
• Upload or transmit viruses, malware, or any malicious code.
• Resell, sublicense, or commercially exploit any content or features without our express written consent.

4. Intellectual Property

All content on the Service — including horoscope text, charts, designs, logos, and software — is owned by Zodiscope or its licensors and is protected by copyright, trademark, and other intellectual property laws.

We grant you a limited, non-exclusive, non-transferable license to access and use the Service for personal, non-commercial purposes. You may not reproduce, distribute, modify, or create derivative works from any Service content without our prior written consent. Your personal birth chart data remains yours; we do not claim ownership over information you provide to generate readings.

5. Astrology Disclaimer

Zodiscope provides astrological content for entertainment and personal reflection purposes only. Our horoscopes, birth chart readings, and related content are not a substitute for professional advice of any kind, including but not limited to medical, psychological, financial, legal, or relationship counseling.

Astrology is a symbolic system of guidance — not a science — and any decisions you make based on content from Zodiscope are entirely your own responsibility. We make no guarantees about the accuracy, completeness, or fitness for any particular purpose of astrological readings. Please seek qualified professionals for matters of health, finance, or legal concern.

6. Limitation of Liability

To the fullest extent permitted by law, Zodiscope and its affiliates, officers, employees, and licensors shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages, including loss of profits, data, or goodwill, arising from your use of — or inability to use — the Service.

Our total liability for any claim related to the Service shall not exceed the greater of (a) the amount you paid us in the twelve months preceding the claim or (b) one hundred US dollars (USD $100). Some jurisdictions do not allow certain limitations on liability; in those cases, the above limitation applies to the maximum extent permitted by applicable law.

7. Termination

You may delete your account at any time from within the app or by contacting us at hello@zodiscope.io.

We reserve the right to suspend or terminate your account and access to the Service at our sole discretion, without notice, if we believe you have violated these terms or that your use poses a risk to us or other users. Upon termination, your license to use the Service ends immediately. Provisions that by their nature should survive termination — including intellectual property, disclaimers, and limitation of liability — will survive.

8. Governing Law

These Terms are governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of the State of California, United States, without regard to its conflict of law provisions. Any disputes arising from these Terms or your use of the Service shall be resolved exclusively in the state or federal courts located in California, and you consent to personal jurisdiction in those courts.
